Public worship is the communal prayer of the Church, by which the faithful are united in offering praise to God. The Jersey County Catholic Parishes celebrate daily Mass, which stands at the center of this worship, while Eucharistic Adoration, offered twice weekly, extends reverence to Christ truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. During Lent, the Stations of the Cross are prayed in public devotion, through which the faithful recall the Lord’s Passion and prepare for the celebration of His Resurrection.
